EMERGENCY FIRST AID PRODUCTS

Item A: PEDIATRIC FIRST AID KIT
A kit designed to give the staff member or parent a practical supply of items for use in emergencies involving children. Includes such essential items as dressings for control of bleeding, assorted dressings for small wounds, proper adhesive tapes, syrup of Ipecac, First Aid reference cards (Item C), etc. (All items verified by Colorado Human Services for use in child care center or home child care. January - 1991)

Item B: FIRST AID FANNY PACK
Ideal for outings; has sterile dressings, dressings, chemical cold pack, tape, soap, gloves, scissors, bandage, first aid cards (Item C) and Resusci-Shield (ItemG). Staff doesn't have to run back to van any longer to get kit in emergency.
*Both of the above can be adapted for adult usage; please specify on order form*

Item C: PEDIATRIC FIRST AID PROMPT CARDS
These cards were developed after requests from child care providers for "prompt cards" to use in an emergency involving children/infants when anxiety levels can cloud the memory. Cards indicate when injuries will require a 911 response, basic treatment, and special concerns unique to the injury. Designed to fit in your rolodex or put on key ring for ease of usage. Available in Spanish.

Item D: ADULT FIRST AID PROMPT CARDS
Same concept as Pediatric Cards (Item C) except these have Adult First Aid Information (over 8 years old).

Item E: CHILD EMERGENCY INFORMATION CARDS
Designed to be taken with you on outings; has areas for the child's photo, name, age, weight, blood type, medical condition(s), any medications, and allergies. Also, has an area for parental information including phone number, medical insurance carrier, and parental release for emergency treatment. Fit perfectly in pocket of First Aid Fanny Back (Item B). *Comes in a package of 12 cards*

Item F: UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS SPILL KIT
Put together for KinderCare and Children's World for use nationally in their centers. We are offering this compact packet for protecting oneself from blood borne pathogens. Includes body fluid absorbent gloves, scoop, scraper, face shield, sterile gauze, antiseptic wipe. Bio-waste (red) bags and Sani-Cloth. Meets OSHA guidelines.

Item G: CPR FACE SHIELDS
Protection from direct mouth contact in real life emergencies needing rescue breathing/CPR. Compact- disposable.

Item H: PERSONAL GLOVE DISPENSER
Small compact dispenser with belt clip; holds five pairs of gloves for quick access to protect yourself from blood borne pathogens when encountering blood! body fluids,

Item I: BLOOD PROTECTION PACK (BPP)
Compact enough to carry on your key chain; packet includes pair of gloves and a Resusci-Shield (Item G) to protect yourself until First Aid Kit can be accessed. Housed in a waterproof cylinder with key ring attached.
