HeartSmart was the first CPR/Pediatric First Aid course
specifically designed for childcare settings to fulfill state
licensing standards. Since 1989, HeartSmart, Inc. has continued to
be the pioneer in development of new customized programs to meet
childcare licensing requirements. Heartsmart programs are fully
approved in Iowa by the Department of Human Services Division of
Adult, Children and Family Services. As well, Heartsmart
programs have Iowa EMS training center approval.
